With over 15 years of architectural expertise and a portfolio spanning luxury residences, wellness-focused spaces, and transformative design projects, I’ve had the privilege of shaping environments that are as refined as they are deeply personal. My background as a Royal Marine Commando has instilled in me a level of discipline, precision, and integrity that’s woven into every project I lead.

Modern House Extension

South Oxfordshire House

South Oxfordshire House transforms a modest family home through sensitive extensions designed for a multi-generational household. The project delivers an accessible ground-floor suite, a secluded master bedroom above, and a light-filled kitchen and dining space to the rear, all thoughtfully connected to the garden. The design’s clarity and resilience ultimately secured approval following an initial planning refusal, reflecting an enduring commitment to inclusive, dignified living.

Watchfield House

Watchfield House is a sensitive renovation and extension of a stone end-terrace cottage in Swindon. This 1800s property has been carefully transformed to support the needs of a growing family, blending historic character with modern living. The project includes a rear extension, first-floor reconfiguration, and a loft conversion, all designed to enhance light and space and promote overall well-being.

Northamptonshire House

In the village of Moreton Pinkney, rural Northamptonshire, this whole-house renovation was designed to promote calm, clarity, and connection. Light-filled spaces, open-plan living, and framed views of the surrounding landscape were key to supporting the client’s mental well-being. A considered, restorative transformation rooted in simplicity, space, and natural beauty.

Old Cattle Barn

In the heart of Northamptonshire, the Old Cattle Barn showcases how rural heritage can be transformed into contemporary living. Black Swan Architecture converted this rustic steel-framed structure into an energy-efficient home, preserving its agricultural essence and deep connection to the landscape.

Lingfield Terrace

Lingfield Terrace celebrates the seamless fusion of heritage and modern design. Our clients connected deeply to their Victorian terrace home, which had been their family sanctuary for years. Seeking to optimise space and functionality for family living, they envisioned a contemporary transformation while honouring the historic character of the original property.

Milton House

Milton House is a standout example of sustainable, modern design, meticulously crafted to meet Passivhaus standards. Situated outside the village settlement in Northamptonshire, this standalone home integrates energy efficiency, ecological harmony, and contemporary elegance.
