Lingfield Terrace

Victorian Charm Reimagined

Lingfield Terrace celebrates the seamless fusion of heritage and modern design. Our clients connected deeply to their Victorian terrace home, which had been their family sanctuary for years. Seeking to optimise space and functionality for family living, they envisioned a contemporary transformation while honouring the historic character of the original property.

The project focused on filling the gap between their house and the neighbouring property with a carefully planned extension. This allowed for a reimagined ground floor layout, including a spacious, light-filled kitchen and dining area. On the upper floors, we introduced a new master bedroom, transforming the former primary bedroom into a playful and versatile space for their children.

Navigating planning challenges, including first-floor extensions, required meticulous design and precise collaboration with local authorities. Despite the complexities, our team successfully secured planning approval, demonstrating our expertise in blending creative solutions with regulatory requirements.

The result is a beautifully renovated home that enhances daily living while honouring its Victorian roots. Lingfield Terrace stands as a testament to how thoughtful design can preserve history, elevate functionality, and create a timeless space tailored to family life.
